At 6:37 a.m., officers responded to West Piney Hollow Road and Jackson Road after a Nissan struck a Toyota, Monroe Township Police said.
The operator of the Nissan had to be extricated and she was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
The operator of the Toyota was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for their injuries, police said.
Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt and speed may have been a factor in the crash, police said.
The crash is under investigation, police said.
